Doubletree Midway

Bedford Park, Illinois

Cicero Construction re-branded the Holiday Inn Midway, situated a few blocks from Chicago’s Midway International Airport, to the DoubleTree by Hilton Midway. Done in two phases, the multimillion-dollar project brought the DoubleTree hospitality experience to the location’s lobby, restaurant, fitness center, outdoor patio and other public areas. The new experience is anchored by the hotel’s multi-use lobby, which has space for travelers to comfortably work on a laptop, eat at the upgraded Market Grab and Go or print documents at the business center. Just off the lobby is the refreshed Coaches Bar and Grill, a popular sports hangout for travelers and locals to enjoy a craft brew and delicious food.

Cicero Construction also updated the four-story building’s 145 guest rooms, suites and corridors to DoubleTree branding standards. All rooms received new carpeting, drapes, paint, beds and furniture, as well as wall-mounted TVs, contemporary artwork and lighting. King room bathrooms were upgraded with bathtub-to-shower conversions for walk-in convenience. Further enhancing the guest experience are stylish new vanities, ceramic tile flooring and backlit mirrors.
